
Alan Fort
Co Director of Instruction – Lead Master Instructor
Alan Fort has been involved with Jim McLean since 2001, bringing over 20 years of teaching experience at the highest level. Worked for 7 years as Master Instructor at the JMGS at Doral and now is serving as Lead Master Instructor and Director of Instruction. Alan has coached national teams, owns certifications in TPI, Swing Catalyst 2, and Superspeed 3, and has extensive knowledge of Trackman, Biodynamics, and Foresight. He has conducted golf teaching seminars in Spain, five times representing JMGS, and has also conducted several golf clinics in Mexico, Chile, Dominican Republic, USA, and Ecuador. He is fluent in English and Spanish, has good communication skills, quickly picks up what the student needs, and has a simple way of explaining. Teaches players from all different levels, from beginners to professionals. Alan has been All-American, MVP, played in 2 World Cups, has won over 50 tournaments as an amateur and more than 20 as a professional, and has participated in PGA Latinamerica. Best score 60 at the Gold Course at Doral.

Brando Tommasi
Brando Tommasi is currently the Director of Instruction for the Jim McLean Golf School and is on the Miura Advisory Board. He is US born but was raised in the United Kingdom and Italy. Member of the Italian PGA since 2005, he has taught golf at the highest level such as LPGA Tour, European Tour, and more. In 2015, he relocated to Florida to join the team of the Jim McLean Golf School at Trump National Doral and Miami Beach Golf Club. He teaches golf to pursue excellence in this field doing what he does best, watching his clients develop into exceptional golfers. Brando is one of the youngest pros in Italy to achieve so much success in terms of victories and studying background.

- Some of the titles his players won were: the Italian Open Amateur Ladies Championship, Italian Open Men Mid-Amateur Championship, Italian Open Men’s Senior Championship, Swiss International Championship, Regional Championship, and State Championship
- Captain of the Men’s team of his club for the National Team Championships for two years in a row ranking always in the Top 8 Best Italian Clubs

Nick Hayes
Master Instructor
Nick Hayes is the Director of Schools and a year round Certified Instructor at the Jim McLean Golf School at The Miami Beach Golf Club. Nick has been with the Jim McLean Golf School for three years. Originally from Erie, Pennsylvania, Nick graduated from Penn State University in 2018. Nick enjoys working with players of all skill levels and developing game improvement programs.
Nick has worked at several clubs across the country as listed below:
- Wilmington Country Club, Wilmington, Delaware
- Country Club of Detroit, Detroit, Michigan
- Plainfield Country Club, Edison, New Jersey
Nick has also worked as a Practice Facility Supervisor for the Master’s Tournament at Augusta National in 2017 and 2018.

Patricia Gonzalez
Master Instructor
Renowned Golf Instructor and coach, Patricia brings her years of competing as a top amateur, collegiate and professional golfer to her students. She has observed and taken lessons from the world’s best teachers and has great knowledge of Golf BioDynamics, Sports Psychology and the Trackman golf radar system.
Currently Patricia coaches top junior golfers, young professional golfers, LPGA and Symetra Tour Players and all levels of female and male golfers. Patricia was an esteemed member of the Colombian National Team from 1978 to 1985 where she won South American Championship in Sao Paulo, Brazil. First time win for Colombia and was nominated as Colombia’s Athlete of the Year in 1981.
Patricia has a passion for teaching, is very enthusiastic, keeps it simple and knows what it takes to be a successful golfer and always guarantees her students will improve. She loves teaching junior, female and male golfers.
She is fluent in Spanish, English and has knowledge of Portuguese, Italian and French.

Kevin Garcia
Certified Instructor
Kevin Garcia is Certified Instructor at the Jim McLean Golf School at The Miami Beach Golf Club.
Originally from Cuba, Havana. Kevin graduated from Florida International University in 2021. He enjoys teaching all aspects of the game (long game, short game, mental game, and management game) to golfers of all ages and skill levels. Kevin worked at Quaker Ridge Golf Club, Scarsdale, New York for 2 years under another Jim McLean Certified Instructor Mario Guerra.
